Updates on Baka and Sou

We are still working on things, albeit slowly with lots of real-life work going on.  We could use a translator for side-projects, if anyone wants to hop on, and an editor who can do redraws for Baka - that would help greatly increase the speed at which we can release!

Either way, we have a new translator for Sou, so we will be getting a chapter of that soon, as well as a chapter of Baka - expect it in the next month!  Slow, but that's how we roll.  We are a tree, after all.

New Features/Pages

Pretty much done screwing around with the new Facebook page and individual project pages (wrapping up Yotsu's), both of which you can find on the right side of the site. Let me know if there's anything that needs correcting, or if you have any suggestions for other features on the site/FB page.

Yotsunoha ch2 + Updates

News!

So here's a release - Yotsunoha ch2, now a pure Tree-scans project.  Welcome to our translator, Sweets, who has diligently worked to procure a translation for all of Yotsunoha - which means that we'll have a release for the rest of it shortly; chapter 3 tomorrow, for instance.

We also have the last volume of Vulgar Ghost Daydream in the works - yet another project that was brought nearly to completion and then forgotten.  Oh well.

Also in the works, new project pages.  The page for Soutennenshoku Otomegumi is up - the rest of them are on the way.  Hopefully that makes everything more convenient and pretty-looking.

And then, as for Baka to Boin - we have 3 chapters in the works in the cleaning stage.  If there are any experienced editors out there, Show yourselves - we're recruiting!  Also recruiting translators (for Dynamite Beauty!!).  Talk to me (kitsu) on IRC or send me an email, slented@gmail.com

Update... yet again!

Our holiday release will be for Chinese New Year (January 23rd).  We will be bringing you all of Yotsunoha, the final volume of Vulgar Ghost Daydream, and probably some Baka to Boin as well.

I figured you guys deserved an update.  We're also working on getting some more user-friendly project pages, too.  The one for Sou is already up, if you wanna take a look.

Lovely loyal followrs of Tree Scans, I bring you news.

The current plan is this.  There will be 1 release of Baka to Boin in December (and more, if you're lucky - but 1 guaranteed to happen).  On top of that, there will be at least 8 chapters of release for our christmas/new years release (series to be determined).

AHHHH STAGNATIONNNNN

This lack of work has been killing me as much as it's been killing you guys. I've had photoshop for a while now, but no cleans or translations. But soon (read: within the next week or so), we'll have some releases.

Baka:

Kit needs a denoise tool for photoshop so he can properly clean some Baka, which he can't get, due to silly Uni anti-piracy/torrenting bull$#!*. As soon as Kit gets that tool, chapters will start to be pumped out again.

Yotsunoha:

Our translator is currently working on an entire volume (-1 chapter), which should be done some time in the next week. Easy to clean, easy to typeset, probably going to be our first release.

Sou:

Once Yotsunoha is back underway, we'll start putting out more Sou. Trust me, this is one of my favorites, I'll push the project singlehandedly if I have to. We should have Sou going at a rate of 1 ch/week.

A different translator is also working on Vulgar Ghost Daydream, which is quick to clean.
